This selection of our native wildflower has one or a few slender, upright flower stalks with pink daisies. (Typical plants of this species have white or pale lavender daisies.) If faded flowers are not removed, seedlings will volunteer around the parent to form a very attractive colony. Seedlings can be pulled easily. If the gardener is willing to manage the seedlings, it could be used in a formal garden. It is well-suited for naturalizing. Bees are the primary pollinators. Birds eat the seeds. Deer tend to ignore it.

Thanks to Susan Lochridge for sharing this plant.
