This elegant, flowering shrub has upright stems and arching branches. The showy, two-inch wide, white flowers have four petals with yellow stamens in the center. As the name indicates, the flowers are not fragrant. It makes an attractive specimen in the formal garden, can be used in a border or screen, and is suitable for naturalizing. Bees are the primary pollinators. Birds eat the seeds. Deer may browse on this plant, especially while it is young.
