That spread must be slow because has not been observed in the nursery. Fragrant flowers are produced on spikes. The petals are deeply dissected giving the flowers a delicate appearance. This plant is easy to grow in the garden. Plant it along a path where the flowers can be viewed up close. The flowers are visited by moths and other insect pollinators. Deer may browse this plant.
